Has quarantine brought your love life to a screeching halt? (Read: No more #TacoTuesday date nights, Role Play Sundays, or Frisky Fridays?) Yeah, we hear you. But guess what: Just because we're in a global pandemic right now doesn't mean you have to completely halt all the lovey, fun things you used to do with your partner—even if you can't go outside to do them.

If you want to spice things up with your quarantine S.O., there are some other things you can do together besides arguing arguing about whether Carole Baskin killed her husband and sending the same viral TikToks back and forth.
Maybs it's time to do something special for your relationship... even if it means changing out of your sweatpants? (...I said maybe.) If you're interested, check out these simple and entertaining date ideas that you can pull off from the comfort of your apartment.
1
Create ~Fancy~ Cocktails Together
Mix things up by creating a signature cocktail—might we suggest a cosmopolitan?—and using your hour to play bartender. Mix it up by creating a cocktail using only ingredients you have in your household (it's okay to get a lil weird). Need some inspo? Check out Cosmo's stir crazy videos of celebs doing it too.

Host a Cooking Class
You: The Michelin-star chef leading a one-on-one session. Your partner: The eager-to-learn patron... who also happens to be super sexy. Is there a hotter role play than something involving food?
Because eating makes up like 80 percent of our daily activities right now, why not make meal prep for your date? Depending on your skills in the kitchen, choose a dish that both of you find delicious and relatively simple. If you and your S.O. aren’t exactly Top Chef material, skip the grocery store and simplify the experience with a meal kit.

Go Vacation Mode
Do you like piña coladas? Or getting caught in the rain? Or using tropical Zoom backgrounds? Then it’s time to crank Jimmy Buffet and dust off that sun hat. Take an indoor trip to this season’s hottest destination: your living room. Set up a limbo stick, grill some shrimp kabobs, or just lay on your beach towel and talk about the best vacation you’ve ever taken.

Do a Cute Throwback to Your First Date
Feeling seriously bummed to be cooped up in an apartment all day? Return to simpler, pre-pandemic times and recreate your first date. Whether you went mini golfing, danced at a concert, or simply grabbed a drink, some easy at-home hacks can bring all the nostalgic feels to a random Thursday night.
Although mini-golf may be a lil hard to recreate in full, you can grab a ball (preferably a golf ball, but any type of ball works) and try to put—or kick or toss—it into a red solo cup (which we know you have). For a concert, blare the music from your Spotify and listen to the beats together in the dark. And for drinks, why not use your White Claws for a White Claw slushie? (IYKYK).

Initiate a Game Night Double Date
Need a night to escape the stress and anxiety of the current state of things? Host a game night for you, your partner, and your other coupled up friends. Meet up virtually on Houseparty for a round of Heads Up!, trivia, Chips and Guac, or Quick Draw. If you want to make things a little ~spicier~, head to Playingcards.io for a free version of Cards Against Humanity. Rather run your own games? Never Have I Ever, Would You Rather, and Truth or Dare are considered classics for a reason.
6
Start Up a Book Club
Is your brain melting during isolation? Will learning another TikTok dance actually break you? Cause same. Keep your minds sharp and conversations lively by creating your very own book club for you and your love interest. Once you select a book (see some escapist fiction or a true crime thriller options), set your reading schedule. Make it as ambitious or easy as you’d like—it’s your personal book club, so you make the rules. Then, meet in your living room (or kitchen or bedroom) with a charcuterie board filled with cheese, meat, and wine, to discuss allllll the things.
7
Host a Fancy Soiree
While one of the best parts of quarantining is the low-effort outfits, sometimes you need a reason to get dressed up. And why not remind 'em what you look like when you're not wearing sweatpants? Throw on your fave LBD, light a candle, and pop some bubbly. Get in the mood for a ~sophisticated~ evening with a Sinatra soundtrack and your sassiest red lipstick.

Sweat Out All Your Stress (and Horniness)
If your workout buddy is also your S.O., bring the gym to your smol place and get your heart rate up at home. Right now, many studios and fitness apps are offering free classes and discounts to make your exercise even more economical. Consider this workout for achieving an insanely strong core courtesy of Women’s Health and Men’s Health, or check out one of these YouTube videos for full body fitness. Either way, pull out your yoga mat and get those endorphins flowing.
