Fun and Creative Valentine's Day Ideas

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!  Have you been struck by Cupid’s bow and arrow?  Want to plan a date or a surprise that is really going to make your crush say “WOW”?    Read below for some cool, fun, and creative Valentine’s Day dates and ideas.

1. Make a pizza together
[post_ads_2]
Nothing says “You’re my boo” like cooking together in the kitchen.  Go to the store, and buy some pizza dough, tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and all of your other favorite toppings.  Then, surprise your crush by teaching them how to make a pizza from scratch!   Light a few candles so that you two can enjoy your homemade pizzas by candlelight.  Your date is sure to be pleased!

2. Go for a bike ride

Pull out those old dusty bikes from the garage, clean them up, and plan an old fashioned bike ride for you and your crush.  This is a fun date because you can spend some time talking, while exercising, and then you can end the date with a fun picnic.

3. Go to an indoor trampoline park

Indoor trampoline parks are super popular lately.

If you are able to find an indoor trampoline park in your area, you are in for an incredibly fun date because no one can jump up and down on a trampoline without smiling.  Surprise your date with this fun physical activity and create memories as you laugh together while jumping on the trampolines.

4. Take a dance lesson
[post_ads_2]
Your date is sure to be impressed with this one!  Look online for local couple’s dance classes offering lessons in salsa, swing, merengue, bachata, ballroom, or another form of dance and then call to see if they are accepting new members into their dance class.  Be sure to tell your date to dress comfortably, because you two are going to get your groove on!

5. Go ice skating

Wanna snuggle up to your bae?  Take them ice skating.  The cooler temperatures are perfect for snuggling up and getting warm together.  Plus, unless they are a professional skater, most people fall a couple of times when they ice skate, so this will give you and your date a chance to get close to each other by helping each other up on the skating rink.

6. Plan a cool scavenger hunt

Get ready for some fun with this one!  Ask your sweetheart to answer some riddles that lead to clues that you have placed around your home, or you can go even bigger and place the clues around your town.  Get creative and think of riddles and clues that will bring a smile to your date’s face.  The last riddle should be a clue that leads to you, as you greet your date with roses, chocolate, or some of their other favorite things.  Awwwwww!!

7. Make a photo book

Nowadays people don’t really print photos anymore.  We snap them and they stay stored on our phones until we accidentally drop our phones and then the pictures are mysteriously deleted, right?  Surprise your date by creating a cool photobook with fun pictures of you guys in the book.  Maybe you have a photo from your first date, or some photos from other fun times.  Use a photo service like Shutterfly or Snapfish to create your book, and then give it to your sweetie as a gift.

Valentine’s Day can be as fun as you make it to be.  If you want to impress your crush, try to plan something out of the box; something that they won’t be expecting.   If you pick any of the ideas listed above, you are sure to earn a few brownie points, and who knows…you might even get a kiss at the end of the night.
