In relationships there is often a power struggle of sorts. While most men will admit that they like being in charge, it may actually not be such a bad idea to let her control you. Here is why letting her control you may be beneficial for you.

To begin with, if she has hold of the reigns, it becomes easier for her to trust you. Men often feel that a woman wants to tie them down and restrict their lifestyle and instinctively begin to fight back. Women like it when their men listen to them. But when you do the opposite of what she says, it tends to create room for doubt. The trust that we're talking about here, goes beyond fidelity. A woman needs to trust your effort to make things work. And allowing her to have control is a small way for her to know that you want to be her man.
Less time spent arguing
Let’s face it. Every couple can do away with that large chunk of time spent arguing. The thing is, during the “honeymoon phase”, nothing can go wrong. It is only later that the cracks begin to appear and it takes some doing to hold it together. Arguing happens in an environment of chaos and, in a way, is a method of establishing control and order in this chaos. Now that you have given her control, the arguments automatically reduce.She gets to decide which movie to watch, where to have dinner, how much to spend on shopping etc. and you get to breathe. Keep the arguments (if any) for big decisions that need weighing of options where you need to put a point forward.
Validates your commitment
Men have been programmed to run away from commitment. Women know this right from the first date. This is the biggest reason why men want control in the first place; so they can manage the pace of the relationship, draw boundaries and decide what happens within and outside them. Sure, your girl might be okay with it, but at the back of her mind she knows what she has to wrestle with. Letting her have control is a symbolic way for you to say, “Look, I’m all yours! Do as you please”. This obviously will also translate to goodies from her side that need not receive any mention here.
You get to have your own space
Believe it or not, when a woman is in control, she is less clingy. Since she is the one making most of the decisions anyways, a lot of time is freed up for the both of you. Use this to catch up with your friends or do other things you like. Because of the order that is brought to the relationship, you know when you need to be with her and when you should stay away. This is a major win-win for you.
The relationship might last longer
When two people are tugging at the same thing from opposite ends, chances are, it will break. Now that your woman is in control, she is responsible for taking the relationship ahead. Your job is to be an active participant. This way, accountability lies solely with her and the pressure to succumb to two different points of view is less, leaving you with a long lasting relationship.
